Hand painted with Aloha. Inspired by the happy humpbacks I see on the west side of Maui swimming in the surf.
This Maui canvas is a piece of Whale Surf Art. The Ocean painting is a perfect for a Boho Surf feel for any Beach Decor Decorated home. The Coastal wall decor would look great in a dorm room or smaller space with it’s canvas size of 8x8 inches and is made in Maui, Hawaii. Cool HI whale gift.
I first poured acrylic paints for a swirling sea effect, added a pearl sheen on top, and then proceeded to create this mystical whale with thick paint to create an almost 3D effect. The acrylic painting is hand painted in in turquoise, blues, greens, white, and black hues. It is painted on the sides for a simplistic ready to hang canvas, or can also stand on its own. The Maui whale art was varnished with an artists gloss to protect the surface from dirt and dust.
This is not a print, this is hand painted by an artist and I appreciate you looking at this listing.
